From the very beginning, God’s plan has been to make you like His Son, Jesus Christ. God’s desire is for you to be conformed to the image of His Son and not to some man-made religious standard.

During His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ poured His life into a small group of men. He modeled what it meant to be conformed into His image by serving, teaching and loving them. These men were then equipped to go and minister what Christ had taught them to the rest of the world. The Bible calls this ministry discipleship. We are to go and make disciples just as Christ made disciples.
