Events and Retreats
Registration – assist with sign-up, information and check-in.
Greeters – meet and greet people and make them feel welcome.
Group Leaders – guide discussions and make sure everyone is having a good time.
Atmosphere – create an inviting environment and set up the facility to produce the desired ambience and experience.
Refreshments – plan and organize food purchases; set up, serve and clean up refreshments.

Nursery [infants,sitters & crawlers] – interact, cuddle, feed, rock to sleep - and yes, change diapers.
Toddlers – play, play some more, prepare the ever-popular snacks and clean up afterwards!
Preschool [includes 2-5 year olds and kindergarten] – teach, play, read, interact, serve snacks and just enjoy this fun age group.
Elementary [1st through 5th grade] – teach, worship, play, lead discussion groups and supervise activites.

Graphic Design – create graphic elements for series promotional pieces, special events and Web projects.
Web Support – create Flash animations, maintain multimedia Web content, ensure consistency and maintain interactive Web pages.

Equipment Operators and Assistants – run lighting, video and sound systems. Operate video cameras. Run audio and video systems for workshops, classes and events.
Technical Support – create PowerPoint text for worship and messages, assist in archiving digital data from weekend services and conduct online research for media content. Prepare DVD content for weekend services and duplicate CD content of weekend messages and workshops.
IT Support – help make sure computers work and play well together.
Creative Media – produce compelling media and computer animations, create custom music tracks for media content, or provide weekend and special event photography and videography.
Administrative Support – keep participant schedules and contacts current.

Resource Center – answer questions, ring up purchases, and provide excellent customer service.
Grounded Coffeeshop – whip up gourmet beverages, serve bottled drinks and desserts in a relaxed environment.
Media Duplication – record and replicate messages onto CD's for sale in the resource center.
Ushers - distribute programs, collect offering and assist with seating.
Greeters – welcome guests, provide general instructions, assist with questions.
Guest Services – assist with event registrations, information and connection.
Check-In Facilitator – assist families with child check-in.
Campus Guides – help guests find their way around campus.
Bulletin Assembly – collate weekend service programs.
White Glove Facility Care – maintain inviting environment throughout all services.
Security – provide safety for all guests, including children (training provided).
First Aid Providers – respond to on-campus medical emergencies (training and CPR certification provided.)

Local
Tuscarawas County Homeless Shelter – provide food, encouragement and a reflection of Christ's love to displaced individuals and families of our community.
ESL Classes - how's your English? Help students practice their pronunciation in our English as a Second Language classes. Knowledge of a foreign language is not required.
Warm Up America - do you enjoy knitting or crocheting? Extend a hand of care and compassion to some of the under-resourced people of our community by making afghans.
Bible Publishing - does the thought of providing Bibles to people in far away places make your heart beat faster? Team members collate, bind, trim, and prepare foreign language New Testaments for shipment to missionaries. A flexible assembly schedule can accommodate your participation.
Senior Assistance - provide love and support to elderly people in long-term care facilities. Assist with Sunday church services at Hennis Care Center, Beacon Pointe and Country Club Center.
Administrative Services - help keep things organized and running smoothly when it comes to local, regional and international missions.
Prayer Team - looking for a way to intelligently pray for our missionaries? Download our monthly World Missions prayer guide and start talking to God about the world.
Regional
Lakewood - several years ago FBC planted a church in this Cleveland suburb. Assist with one-day outreach opportunities or encourage the church by attending a Sunday service.
International
Various Countries - travel with one of our mission teams for a life-changing experience. Short term trips focus on evangelism, discipleship and leadership training. Occasional trips involve construction team opportunities.
Did you ever see people on the stage singing or playing instruments and think, "They must be professionals"? They’re not. They’re volunteers, just like you. Although the vocalists and musicians who grace our stage during weekend services are skilled and talented, there are also artistic opportunities for those who are just getting started.

Vocalists – perform solos and sing backup for Sunday services and special events.
Instrumentalists – perform during Sunday services and special events. Bands typically include drums, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar and keyboard – but just about any instrument played well could have a place on our stage.
Drama – perform in Sunday services and special events. Opportunities include writing scripts, adapting scripts, assisting with costumes, props and staging.

The Middle School Program meets Wednesday nights and is designed for 6th through 8th graders in the midst of major physical and emotional changes.
The High School Program meets Wednesday nights and is designed for freshmen through seniors who are looking forward to "life beyond high school" and its freedom and responsibilities.

Mentor – develop a rapport with students and lead group discussions.
Administrative Support – assist leaders with miscellaneous tasks before, during and after weekly gatherings or other events.
Childcare Assistance – care for leaders' children during student programming.
Concessions – serve snacks and beverages before and after Wednesday gatherings and other events.
Tech Assistance – help teach, guide, and oversee student participation in technology.
