That pretty much sums up our communication strategy at First Baptist Church. In this era of information overload - and life at light-speed - we strive to provide an escape hatch. [In more ways than one.] So we've designed this site [simply] to answer your two most important questions:

1. Is this a fit for me?
2. If so, what is my next step? [And if you're new to FBC, you can relax - your next step may be a simple as signing up for our enewsletter.]

What you won't find on this site is the snack menu for the toddler room. Because you just need to know when that room is staffed and ready for your child. And you don't need a page on the philosophy of our men's ministry. But a story of life-change from other men who attend FBC. Are we right?

What you will find is three main sections, with specific information:

• This Week - what's coming up in our weekend, mid-week and age-specific venues.
• New to FBC - what you can expect, who we are and how to get here. 
• Next Steps - opportunities for you to connect, volunteer and engage in spiritual growth - through events, groups, teams and giving.

And, now for the the techie recommendations - to maximize your FBClinked.org experience. You'll need: 

• to allow pop-ups in order to utilize the register, volunteer, contact and other interactive features.
• a current browser with screen resolution at 1024 x 768
• Flash 8 or above to view medias
• Adobe Acrobat Reader to download documents
• enable your Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed. This is found under: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced (tab) > Security > Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed > Click Apply > Click OK.
