| Summer Harvest
Each Sunday this summer, First Baptist children ages two through grade five, will be participating in a very special growing season as they dig into God’s Word to discover all nine aspects of the fruit of the Spirit.
Summer Harvest incorporates all the excitement and learning of traditional Bible School into each Sunday morning of the summer and creates a fun atmosphere where children will enjoy:
- lively songs
- hilarious skits
- creative crafts
- tasty snack
- exciting games
But most important, they discover how to allow God to grow the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.
A missions emphasis is included in our summer program. Our goal is to help children discover the importance of missions and to understand that we can all be involved by praying for and supporting special projects.
This year, we have selected a project that will help reach the people of the Philippines with the good news of Jesus Christ. Your child’s offering will help support the needs of the churches of Metro Manilla Baptist Church and Antipolo Baptist church. Many of the children were abe to personally meet Pastor Sonny Domo-os and Pastor Leo Mauricio on their recent trip to our church in April.
We invite your family to help with this important project by praying for the people of the Philippines and, if possible, by sharing your offerings. The contributions will be more meaningful to your child if he or she earns the money him/herself. Help your child think of ways to earn money through various chores or odd jobs.
Let’s work together to bring the message of God’s love to the people of the Philippines.
